We had Christmas a little later this year. Adrian and family could not get down from Boiling Springs, SC until late Christmas day. So we arranged to have the Allen's Christmas Dec. 26 at noon with dinner. Following the noon meal we gather in the den to open gifts from one another. It is always fun and joyful to watch the grands open their gifts. We start with the youngest and go upward. They tear and sling the bows and paper everywhere.Their eyes are bright and wide open. They giggle and laugh as we make remarks about what Santa brought them. This goes on about an hour or so. After a long day and loving on each other things begin to slow down. Kelsey, Hanna, Landen and Caleb spend the night with us. They are ready to put their PJ's on and relax awhile. Adrian, Tammy and Micah are gone to her mother's house for the night. Jeffery,Dori and Kaden went home. We are now left with the oldest children to love on so more. They are so sweet. This is just a little taste what family is all about. I will soon fall a sleep and wake up for more family time. Here are some photos of our day. Thank you Lord for such a loving family.
