Sunday was a great day at SFBC. It was a vision of victory for us. Most Easter Sunday's at SFBC in the past have been low attendance. We have a young church with the average age 34. In the past some of our couples would go to church with their parents, leaving us with a low attendance. We have always had a good turn out, but nothing like this Easter Sunday. It was awesome to hear Daniel sing and see people get excited and shout! He led off with a mini concert that lifted the name of Jesus high. The choir sang two beautiful songs and there was some more shouting. Then we were honored to see some of our new members present a drama. We had 13 team members who lifted the name of Jesus up. It's not over yet, we had a trio sing and heaven came down again. Then I was able to share the Word of God in Mark 15:42 through Mark 16:8. The invitation was given and the altar filled up with weeping souls. Hearts were revived and one precious soul that got saved on Wednesday evening came forward for baptism. As I stood and looked around the church I saw the balcony almost full and the sanctuary almost filled. When we built the new church we trusted God to fill it up. It has been one year and three months since we moved into the new worship center. Sunday God showed up with 424 people hearing the gospel. What a Savior!
Sunday School Attendance was 303!
Let's get ready for Mother's Day! Let's try to reach 500 in worship!
